Here in the Northeast, we got hit by two winter storms back to back! First we got an ice storm that was devistating to many of our friends, which left some of them without heat, power or cable for days! We actually were one of the lucky ones, and didn't loose any power, but we did have a tree fall onto the back of our house, which caused us to have a hole in our back wall! It caused a lot of damage, but nothing that the house insurance won't be able to cover - thank goodness!
The second storm was a huge snow storm that gave us over 2 feet of snow in 24 hours. Being in the capital district, we haven't had that much snow in such a short amount of time in YEARS! It was a lot of snow, but thankfully on a weekend, so it didn't impact driving to work too much. The boys had fun playing in it, though. Here are some pictures...
